MailChimp for WordPress – Review

About MailChimp

We love MailChimp, and not because of the Monkey Logo 🙂 After trying a few different options, we found that MailChimp is the easiest to use and understand. It runs separately from your website and you can use this to send normal email newsletters or use their automation services.

When a visitor visits your website the MailChimp signup form will capture their details and add it directly to your subscriber list within MailChimp dashboard. Sending mails is extremely easy and setting up automation at MailChimp is a breeze.

Originally founded in 2001 MailChimp has been around for the longest time, they began as a paid service in 2009 and added a freemium option in 2009. By June 2014 it was sending 10 billion emails per month on behalf of their clients.

How much does MailChimp cost?

The good news is, MailChimp allows you to have 2000 subscribers and you can send normal mail to them, for more subscribers and to start using their automation service you will need to purchase credits. The credits are fairly priced and well worth the investment.

Pros and Cons of Mailchimp

Pros, pros, pros, in fact we have looked long and hard to find something wrong with MailChimp but this far we can only say well done MailChimp!! I think experience gives them the advantage. The good news is that they are constantly improving and we look forward to see how much more one can improve something that is already this great!

Our rating: 5 Stars!!
